Tambuwal lacks vision - Yabo

A former Commissioner of Finance and Local Government Affairs in Sokoto state, Alhaji Faruk Malami Yabo, has said the socio-economic development in the state is being stagnated due to the absence of visionary leadership.

Yabo, who is aspiring for the Governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stated this on Thursday during an audience with some journalists in Sokoto.

According to him, the government of the day was not prepared to govern the state but was just fortunate to be at the helm of affair.

"He (Tambuwal) said the state is generating N70 billion annually and he is making a budget of over N200 billion which is unrealistic," he said.
